What are the trends for the 2009-2010 school year? Just give the popular stores and stuff. Please nobody say skiny jeans cuzz I hate them and I know they are kinda popular.
What to invest in during 2009-2010 period?
I have made some lousy decisions because of lack of financial education.
Here are the major ones:
-Wanted to buy a condo, was persuaded to buy a house in 2005 at the peak of the market.
-later convinced myself to invest in stock, since I was pretty sure the market had crashed. What I thought was the crash, was a tiny downturn with respect to the October 08 crash.
Now that I have spent some time educating myself, I am still unsure as to what to invest in in the next year or two. I will no longer listen to TV and radio to guide me. The News is always behind by about 2-3 months, may be more.
My situation as of now:
-2 mortgages, (1st 5.7%, 2nd 8.0%) average rate 6.7 Monthly payment $3000
-no car payment (although I need a newer car.)
-School loan to pay off (not that significant)
-gas, phone, utilities at my parents house, as well as most of my rental income goes to my parents because they have their own mortgage too and need my support.
I am 28 and trying to make the best of it in this economy.
Don’t have anything fancy, live below my means
Have my parents to support, although I am living with them for the time being, since I can’t afford living at my house.
