My computer is more than fast enough for most games on high graphics. However, I often don’t run them on very high settings, because it just gets annoying with over rendered reflections. I spent about $500 for 8GB DDR2-1066, 320GB WD HDD (have to replace this), Biostar TA790GX mobo, Aspire 500W PSU, AMD Athlon X2 6000+ OC’d to 3.4GHz, HIS Radeon HD 4870 512MB, and an LG lightscribe DVD-RW. Its a great, cheap system. I’ll pobably upgrade my CPU to a Phenom II X4 or X2 Black Edition.
$500 on 8GB DDR2? What a waste of money. Could have done a lot better.
