Advice On Best Computer Equipment For New Video Production Company?
Would the MacPro be the best computer for a new small business? Also which scanner/printer do you suggest I invest in?
if you are going to be doing lots of video editing, your on the right track with a Mac however you need allot of two basic things for video editing
-Processing Power
-Storage Space
the Mac Pro meets both of these. its a highly stable, extremely powerful computer with lots of storage.
other things:
-you should buy extra memory and add it after (allot cheaper and easy to do)
-you will most likely want two screens
-you might want to opt to upgrade the video card(s)
as for printers and scanners, I would go out and buy a B&W laser printer they are economical and fast. to get a printer that will produce really high quality images, you’ll have to spend allot of money. for scanners and printers check out the links below
