PostHeaderIcon Getting A Cleg Need Some Advice.?

*does the new high tech toy dance*
In a few weeks I get fitted with a second test socket and a CLEG!!!! ( This is the Cadillac of prosthetic knees for those wondering what I’m talking about.)
So my questions are:
How do I do heels in a Cleg. What does Otto bock offer in the ladies shoe department? what is the best foot to get?
How do I avoid demolishing this beauty? I work for a whale research group. Part of my job involved being in a boat or up to my neck in whale remains. I’m also out and about educating the public on marine life. So how can I protect the knee while still making it work for me? I am the girl who broke a prosthetic foot in the first month of getting her leg back.
do I cosmetically cover it or not cosmetically cover it?
If the battery goes dead can I still walk?
Any other glitches or issues I should know about?

    Congratulations!
I would get in touvh with the company that makes them. I don’t think it can get wet, if it’s got a battery.
And please, please get a pic with a smile on it, seeing you so glum is heart breaking. And you are such a vibrant busy girl. Not to mention gorgeous. So get a pic with a smile! Please?
