just screw it dude its dead,i formated THE WHOLE DISK DRIVE,SECTORS EVERYTHIN,and that HDD S.M.A.R.T thing even says its bad,backup and replace and it makes 2 beeping sounds bout half a second from the first one,like it boots then it does the 2 beeps..which means its dead..even formating didnt work….and i thinking my laptop im using right now is dying from a hard drvie cuz i hear clicks and it takes longer for the OS to load….bu it is still working asï»¿ of now….

you files will probably be in tact. That screen you talked about just sounds like an os problem. Haveï»¿ you tried booting into a vista disc and tring “sfc /scannow” ?
